Local Officer Nominations
Scheduled for November Meeting

Nominations for 1998 local officers will be taken at the Nov. 6 meeting of the Buffalo Newspaper Guild.

Current local officers are Sina Williams, president; Tom Dolan, vice president; Bob Snyder, treasurer; and Tina Destro, secretary.

Each of the offices carry a small stipend and a one-year term beginning in January.

Additionally, the Guild will conduct a special unit meeting immediately before the November local meeting to receive nominations for Buffalo News editorial vice chair. Jerry Sullivan has announced his intention to step down to devote more time to his work and family.

Unit officers terms run until April 1998.
