TNG CONFERENCE, CWA CONVENTION HELD IN AUGUST

DELEGATES ELECTED

The Guild will send a six-person delegation to the union's international convention in Anaheim, Calif. this summer.

The six delegates were elected from a field of eight

candidates during balloting by the membership last month.

Elected were Donna Ryan, Classified, 106 votes; Jay Bonfatti, Editorial, 99; Bill Jerge, Customer Service, 94; Jeanne Marie Ensminger, Circulation, 90 Carol Ann Burke, Circulation, 86; and Pat Gormley, Circulation, 76.

The other candidates were Carol Goldstein, 72 votes, and Mark Sommer, Editorial, 62 votes.

All six delegates will represent the Buffalo local at the Guild sector conference Aug. 25 and 26 and the top three finishers - Ryan, Bonfatti and Jerge - will represent the local at the CWA convention Aug. 28 and 29.

Ryan and Bonfatti will act as voting delegates to the CWA convention while Jerge serves as an alternate.
