Newsletter is a Team
Effort
This is the last issue of the year and
my final edition as editor. Now seems an appropriate time to thank our
contributors.
The lifeblood of any publication, including this one,
is reporters. And the Guild is fortunate that many of the rank and file from
all departments are willing to take time out of their busy schedules to write
an article for the Frontier Reporter.
This newsletter truly is a team effort.
Susan Kelley ensures that the copy is put onto computer disk and ready to
be edited, while Elmer Ploetz created and maintains our on-line
edition.
The Frontier Reporter would not reach your
homes every month if it were not for the efforts of Marian Needham, the Guild's
local service representative. She has been a joy to work with.
The Frontier Reporter has brought me much enjoyment
these past six years. Five Guild presidents have placed their trust in me,
and I'm grateful. The time I have spent on this newsletter will be among
my fondest memories of
Buffalo.
Finally, the Frontier Reporter is here to inform you,
our readers. If you have suggestions on how we can make it better, please
don't hesitate to contact my successor. I know that you will give him the
support and assistance that you always gave to me.
