The volunteer Board of Directors has been hard at work!. The Fund Development Committee, chaired by Joseph Marx, set up a June cruise on the Niagara Clipper, sponsored by M & T Bank. Good times, good food, a beautiful evening (the committee even takes credit for the weather.) ... And it raised money for Camp Fire!
The Board sold raffle tickets for season tickets to the Buffalo Bills.The tickets were donated by Key Bank. Proceeds from this project, headed by Board member, Molly McBride.
You can just bet Board members are selling (and eating) NiagaraCandy bars too. (Is that what it means to have a well-rounded board?)
Board members were also greeting arrivals, grilling hot dogs and serving up cider and hot chocolate at Camp Howleywood along with you on October 27.
Also, this site is a service of the board, with design and space donated by board members.
Each of you has special ideas! Share them with us. Let us know thedate and place of your club and cluster events. The Community Relations committee wants to help you get the word out. We can help with press releases and notifications to your local papers and community TV stations. Be sure to take photos of your group during your activities. (How about a contest for the best service project idea?)
