Camp Aloha
Campers may sign up for any single session or any combination of sessions. Families may register for all or part of the Family Camp Week.
Programs are small-group oriented -- 5 to 10 campers, with a ratio of 1 counselor per 8 campers (groups of 1 to 5 for campers under age 8).
Campers are assigned to cabin and tent groups by gender, age, and grade level.
Groups plan their schedule with the supervision of trained counselors.
There is ample opportunity for group spontaneity within the program framework. Sharing with other campers, and their counselors, is something rarely found in any other experience.
SWIMMING under the supervision of a Red Cross certified Water Safety Instructor in the camp pool. Instruction is offered on age and skill appropriate basis and a daily recreational swim is part of the program.
GAMES and SPORTS summer is playtime and campers will have the opportunity to express themselves in vigorous and adventuresome ways. New Games, Fitness Trail, Rope Course, Sports and Unstructured Group Play are part of what makes camp Fun!
OUTDOOR COOKING groups will cook out at least once during each session. The cookout possibilities include: hot dogs, pizza, foil dinners and of course -- s'mores!
A one week camping experience gives children a chance to learn and grow outside the home environment. A balanced program of swimming, crafts, boating, cookouts, sports and evening campfires will provide your child with many opportunities to explore new skills and improve existing skills.
