Premiums to Double

Buffalo News employees who participate in UNUM’s supplemental disability plan have been hit with a premium increase that more than doubles the weekly out-of-pocket cost. Weekly premiums will increase from 88 cents to $1.92.

This is a voluntary, employee-paid plan and participants who wish to quit the plan can file their request in the benefits department at any time.
