| Let's start out with some pictures from Cleveland's own Cowslingers.
Following a scorched-earth policy, they jammed two hours' worth of stage
show into 45 minutes in an amazing show! |
Greg, performing and ... well, performing! |

Ken on bass |
The view into the sweltering heat: |
Greg, with Little Joe of Scott Carpenter & the Real McCoys on Maracas,
during "The Burro Show" |

Dusk was coming and the photo's not the sharpest, but you get the idea
of the show! |
| Let's go to some pictures of the hosts, the Steam Donkeys!
Above we have the front three, Doug Moody, Buck Quigley and Charley Quill,
and below the same trio |
| You never know what you might find at a Steam Donkeys show ... from long-time
fans Penny and Mary to the notorious Cliff Hanger, show MC and Buffalo's
only known French poet!
Now coming up ... Redheaded Stepchild! |
Featuring the many face of Katherine Koch. |

Auxiliary activities ...
There was the Hot Dog Eating Contest ... and here's our winner! |
| And of course the Americanaramamama Contest (that's Mark Norris of girlpope
putting the tiara on the winner) |
| Below we have Scott Carpenter & the Real McCoys ... that's Scott
on right and guitar wizard Matt Smith on the left ... In the second picture,
Scott is doing an acoustic duo thing with Doug Moody of the Donkeys ... Oh,
and the shot below is Matt's proud Gramma with some of the family.
... And we don't even want to know what bass player Little Joe was
doing with Willie after the set. |
| Now we get to the people that opened the show, Buffalo legend Dave Meinzer
with his Nimrod Wildfire band. That's Cathy Carfagna, Dave's wife and one
of the Jazzabels, on accordian. Dennis Mike is on pedal steel, Kevin O'Brian
on stand-up bass and John Brady on drums. Oh, and Dave is the guy with the
guitar. |
| One of the highlights for the webmaster was the appearance of Dixie Dee,
aka Richard Derwald, with Irving Klaws. Dixie Dee sang with the Rhythm Rockers
in Buffalo 40 years ago and cut some truly classic records. |
| That's all for now folks! Look for Redliners pix with Greg Klyma and
Jim Whitford on the Greg Klyma site
(http://klyma.com) and look for a couple of
Red Gills shots in a couple of weeks! |
